Wareham Community Television is a local access cable television station that provides media equipment, training, and broadcasting opportunities for Wareham residents. WCTV broadcasts public, educational, and local government media on channels 28, 29, 30 (Verizon) and 9, 26, 8 (Comcast). One of the stations main goals is to develop the communities understanding of telecommunications technology for personal and professional use. New members are always welcomed to join.
History Of The Building
Located at 505 Main Street in Wareham, Massachusetts. The WCTV building was initially utilized as a town hall/ town office and has an important historical background for the town of Wareham. Built in 1900, the building was formerly part of Wareham’s Historic District.
