Station Orientation - The first step to making your own television program! Get introduced to the WCTV facilities and
equipment available to you as a member. Tour the station. Visit the studio and control room. Familiarize yourself with our editing suites
and cameras. Learn about WCTV's history and mission and our place in the community. The completion of this course is required for all
WCTV members.

Final Cut Pro Editing 101 - Acquaint yourself with the wonderful world of Mac computers and the creative potential of Final Cut Pro
editing software. Learn the basics of post-production editing. Import and capture video. Log and organize footage. Trim between clips,
mix audio, and add transitions and titles. Export final videos to air on WCTV.
Prerequisite: Orientation

Final Cut Pro Editing 102 - Expand your knowledge of Final Cut Pro editing software. Gain a tailored and in-depth understanding of the
advanced menus and tools to bring your videos to the next level.
Prerequisite: Final Cut Pro Editing 101

Final Cut Pro Editing 103 - Now that you know the ins and outs of Final Cut Pro editing software, it's time to pass those skills on.
Learn how to teach others about the creative capacity of Final Cut Pro.
Prerequisite: Final Cut Pro Editing 102

Studio Production 101 - An overview of preparing and running a show in WCTV's state-of-the-art multi-camera television studio.
Learn the basics of control room operation, including use of the digital switcher, audio board, and graphics creator.
Get an introduction to lighting and camera operation. Gain the fundamental tools to produce and work as a crew member on a WCTV show.

Studio Production 102 - Build on the skills learned in Studio Production 101. Receive in-depth instruction on the studio's lighting grid and
dimmer board, various microphone options, and multiple video source integration. Acquire the skills and confidence to successfully create
studio productions on your own.

Field Production 101 - Learn the basics of on-location productions. Operate our new Panasonic field digital camera. Become familiar with
the basic principles of shot composition, lighting, and sound recording in the field.

Field Production 102 - Build on the skills learned in Field Production 101. Advance to multi-camera on-location shoots. Be a part of our
mobile production truck. Learn effective camera placement, the ins and outs of internet streaming, and use of portable video switchers,
audio mixers, and wireless audio equipment.
